For your contemplation: “Normally the signs of resurrection are experienced more in daily life than during prayer itself. Our best criteria for judging whether our faith experience is really bearing fruit is the growth of our desire for God — not a particular desire for this or that experience, but a general loving hunger for God. This is the most certain sign that the divine life is becoming healthy, strong, and powerful within us,” – Thomas Merton.

United Methodist Church

Sunday morning worship at the United Methodist Church is at 10 a.m. where you will find a warm, inclusive welcome. Pastors Alissa Bertsch Johnson and Pat Sleeth will lead the service and the celebration of Holy Communion this Sunday. Please join us as we observe the first Sunday in Lent and begin the journey toward Easter.

A multi-age Sunday school class for elementary school children meets at 9 a.m. every week. There is also a grief support group during the Sunday school hour using the book, “Hearing Jesus Speak into Your Sorrow” by Nancy Guthrie.
