The Cheney High gymnastics team will have two athletes represent them at the 1A/2A/3A state gymnastics championships, Feb. 16-18 at the Tacoma Dome Exhibition Hall, and they are both named Miller.
At the Feb. 11 regional qualifier, Alexis Miller earned her second trip to state after posting scores in the vault (8.30 points), uneven bars (8.15), beam (8.65) and floor exercise (9.10).
Makayla Miller qualified in the bars (7.9). She also competed in the floor (8.25), vault (7.70) and beam (7.65).
Kyli Mayhew also represented Cheney at regionals and competed in the uneven bars (6.75), vault (7.25)...
