Medical Lake girls earns signature victory over Lakeside

To say the least, it was a big week for the Medical Lake girls’ basketball team. And the Cardinals showed they were equal to the task emerging with a pair of Northeast A League victories sandwiched around an emotional Golden Feather spirit game win.

Medical Lake opened the week with a big home win over Lakeside, 48-36 on Jan. 10 and concluded by breezing past Colville on the road, 59-38. Between came the 56-55 nonleague win over visiting Cheney.
