Jan. 9
Harassment was reported on the 700 block of Betz Road.
Jan. 10
A 2003 Nissan Maxima was impounded on the zero hundred block of West Second Street.
Jan. 11
A 2006 Cadillac was impounded on the 100 block of Second Street.
A 2008 Nissan Sentra was impounded on the 700 block of Chestnut Street.
Makala K. Anderson, 28, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance on the zero hundred block of Cheney-Spokane Road.
Financial fraud was reported on the 500 block of Presley Drive. An AT&T account was used to make an unauthorized phone purchase.
Jan. 12
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 700 block of West First Street.
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 2300 block of University Lane.
A 2007 Hyundai Sonata was impounded on the 2800 block of Al Ogdon Way.
A 2013 Honda Accord was taken without owner’s permission on the 100 block of West Sixth Street.
Police received a 911 call from an individual that was unable to give their location. The call was tracked to a residence on the 1500 block of Ridgeview Drive. Officers subsequently gained entry to the residence, and discovered the individual was not at home, but found out the individual was able to get the needed medical assistance elsewhere.
Terrell R. Daniels, 18, was arrested at the Cheney Municipal Court for three outstanding Cheney warrants for obstructing, driving under the influence, false registration and second-degree trespassing and one Spokane warrant for reckless driving.
Arin S. Wise, 38, was arrested for third-degree driving while license suspended (DWLS) on the 500 block of West First Street.
Jan. 13
Fourth-degree assault was reported on the zero hundred block of First Street.
A car key was found on the 100 block of F Street.
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 2800 block of First Street.
A credit card was found outside of the city and turned in to the police station.
Jan. 14
Salina M. Zewoldi, 22, Jenica A. Rogers, 21, and Jacquelyn N. Ryan, 20, were arrested for a nuisance code violation/loud party on the 1100 block of Second Street.
Possible child abuse/neglect was reported on the 3100 block of Normal Park Road.
Jan. 15
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 300 block of North Third Street.
Second-degree theft was reported on the 300 block of North Fifth Street. A credit card was taken.
Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 300 block of Clay Street. There was damage to a vehicle.
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 900 block of Second Street.
