Cheney court honored
Two Cheney Municipal Court officials were honored at the City Council’s Jan. 10 meeting.
Court administrator Terri Cooper was presented with Court Management Council’s Court Manager of the Year award by Judge Greg Tripp. The Court Management Council is part of the state’s Administrative Office of the Courts.
Cooper has been with the municipal court since 2004. She founded the Cheney Youth Court in 2008, and has been active in many issues facing the court such as domestic violence advocacy for victims.
