After a sharp increase between the 2013-14 and 2014-15 school years, Cheney School District’s home-based instruction student count has remained pretty much consistent the past three years.
According to information from the district, homeschooled students enrolled with the district jumped from 72 in 2013-14 school year to 90 the following year. Last year, 89 students were enrolled, while this year, 93 have signed up — an all-time high.
