Judi, was born in Oroville, Calif. on June 3, 1952. In June 1970, she graduated from Chief Sealth High School in Seattle, and went on to pursue higher education at Highline Community College in Midway, Wash.

Judi met Rick in a dance hall and they were married on May 19, 1988. They spent the next 28 years dancing together. She worked as an administrative assistant for Haakon Industries in Cheney for 20.5 years.

Judi attended Four Lakes Community Church with her family and had a deep faith and love for God. Judi enjoyed sports and played several during her years. One of her favorite pastimes was reading and she could often be found with a good book in hand. Judi loved spending time on the water and spent many hours fishing, reading, and relaxing on their boat on the local lakes. She loved to bake and made delicious fudge that friends and family looked forward to around the holidays. She also enjoyed creating hand made greeting cards.

Judi cherished time spent with her five grandchildren, crafting, playing games, laughing and just being silly. She donated her time helping organize the Cheney Rodeo and Parade. She was named the Justin Boots Rodeo Committee Member of the Year for 2015. She will be most remembered by her beautiful smile and contagious laugh.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10 at the Cheney Community Church with pastor Steve Powers officiating. Cheney Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Visit Judi's online guestbook at cheneyfuneral.com.
