The city of Airway Heights took its first step in its budgeting process.
At its Nov. 7 meeting, City Council held the first of two public hearings on the 2017 budget.
According to information provided by staff, current expense fund revenues are estimated to be over $6.854 million while expenditures total over $6.843 million.
Revenues for the enterprise fund are estimated at $6.624 million while expenditures total $7.732 million. The revenue will be added to the beginning fund balance of over $10.889 million and the ending fund balance is projected at over $9.780 million.
