The Medical Lake boys, led by the second-place finish from Mason Williams, placed four runners among the top seven finishers and earned just enough points to upset the state’s top-ranked 1A team, Deer Park, 26-28 in the final Northeast A League cross country meet Oct. 18 in Colville.
The win earns the No. 6-ranked Cardinals the regular-season NEA title....
