Medical Lake’s volleyball team remained winless following a pair of 3-0 straight-set losses to Newport and Riverside last week in Northeast A League play.
In their 25-22, 25-8, 25-8 loss to Newport (5-5 NEA, 6-5 overall), the Cardinals showed some life in the first set, but wilted after that.
“In practice, we have been working on starting fast and it showed in this match,” head coach Todd Harr said. “We came out firing and played well throughout the first set.”
