A week after they suffered their first season loss to Great Northern League rivals East Valley, the Lady Blackhawks soccer team returned in full force with back-to-back 2-0 league wins over Pullman (Sept. 27) and Clarkston (Sept. 29).
Against Pullman, Madison O’Callaghan scored an unassisted goal in the 35th minute to give Cheney a 1-0 lead heading into halftime.
Gabby Nguyen, with an assist from Lelie Holland, added an insurance goal at the 41st minute.
