Cards drop pair in volleyball

Medical Lake remained winless on the volleyball court last week dropping a pair of 3-0 matches at Lakeside and Freeman.

“Lakeside is the best team in our league and they showed us why,” head coach Todd Harr said. Lexi Rolan had four kills in the 25-5, 25-8, 25-9 setbacks.

Freeman is very quick and they kept the Cards on their heels all night, Harr said. “Lindsey Cazier had some great swings throughout the match and the whole team competed throughout the night.”

Hailey Hostetter led the Cards with eight digs, while Kaite Kepner added seven assists as ML fell 25-8, 25-10, 25-7.
