Zamora shares Big Sky defensive honor
Senior Miquiyah Zamora was rewarded for his performance, but his versatility was just as impressive.
The Eastern Washington University senior linebacker was honored as co-Big Sky Conference Defensive Player of the Week after helping the Eagles to a 34-30 win over No. 10 Northern Iowa thanks to Eastern’s best defensive performance in 15 games. He was the first Eagle honored with that award since Ronnie Hamlin earned the honor twice in 2012. He shared the award with North Dakota cornerback Deion Harris.
