Eastern Washington University’s all-time leading men’s basketball scorer, Venky Jois, signed a contract Aug. 9 to play professionally with Tartu Ulikool/Rock, a club located in the European country of Estonia.
“I’m excited to actually be a professional basketball player now,” Jois told the Sydney Morning Herald. “To jump into the lifestyle that (being a professional) brings will be great and being able to focus on training the past few months has seen me improve a ton this off-season.”
