CHENEY

Aug. 1

Third-degree theft was reported on the 200 block of South Cheney-Spangle Road. Workout stuff was taken.

Aug. 2

Harassment was reported on the zero hundred block of West Fifth Street.

Timothie S. Evans, 28, was arrested for violation of court order on the zero hundred block of West First Street.

Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 2300 block of University Lane.

Aug. 3

Suspicious circumstances were reported on the 600 block of Second Street. There was an odd note left.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 800 block of West First Street. Two bicycles were taken.

Taking motor vehicle without owner’s permission was reported on the 200 block of Simpson Parkway. A 1995 Honda Civic was taken.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 1400 block of Gary Street. An XBox and games were taken.

Aug. 4

Possible civil issue was reported on the 300 block of North Eleventh Street. Property was given away without the property owner’s authority.

Theft of a firearm was reported on the 2300 block of Lilac Court.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 300 block of B Street. A GPS and stereo faceplate were taken.

Third-degree theft was reported on the zero hundred block of Union Street. Clothing was taken from a vehicle.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 300 block of North Eleventh Street. A knife was taken from a vehicle.

Aug. 5

Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 2200 block of First Street.

Third-degree theft was reported to the Police Department. Plates had been switched on vehicles.

Suspicious circumstances were reported on the 1500 block of Second Street. The subject believed they were being followed.

Civil issue was reported to the Police Department. A person was reported as being missing, however police were of the person’s whereabouts.

Aug. 6

Emmanuel Ortega, 20, was arrested for driving under the influence on the 900 block of First Street.

Aug. 7

An “I’m in jail and need money for bond” phone scam was reported on the 100 block of West Sixth Street.

Aug. 3

Marilea E. Simmons (age not listed) was arrested at Highway 2 and Hayford Road on a warrant for failure to comply on a third-degree theft charge.

William D. Geiger, 36, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for second-degree burglary, third-degree theft, first-degree criminal trespassing and on warrants for failure to appear on charges of first-degree driving while license suspended (DWLS) and making false statement to public servant.

Penny L. Lewis, 40, was arrested on the 12500 block of West 12th Avenue for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.

Aug. 4

Ginger L. Burns, 27, was arrested at 12th Avenue and Lawson Street for third-degree DWLS.

Blake J. Brewer, 23, was arrested on the 13100 block of West 13th Avenue on a warrant for failure to appear on a third-degree DWLS charge.

Veronica Browneagle, 61, was arrested on the 100 block of North Hayford Road for third-degree DWLS.

Del D. Marquette, 48, was arrested on the 100 block of North Hayford Road for third-degree DWLS.

Jami R. Cory, 35, was arrested at Highway 2 and Deer Heights Road for third-degree DWLS.

Aug. 5

Duane B. Johnson, 52, was arrested on the 13100 block of West Highway 2 for fourth-degree assault.

George W. Hatcher, 61, was arrested on the 12600 block of West Highway 2 on a felony warrant.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 800 block of South Carmella Lane.

Karene M. Minehart, 50, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road on a warrant for failure to appear on a theft charge.

A traffic accident with damages was reported on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road.

Joshua R. Bippes, 37, was arrested on the 10600 block of West 12th Avenue for third-degree DWLS.

Aug. 6

A traffic accident with damages was reported on the 10400 block of West Highway 2.

Financial fraud was reported on the 10200 block of West 10th Avenue.

Aug. 7

Seth R. Brink (age not listed) was arrested on the 10600 block of West 12th Avenue for second-degree malicious mischief.

Michelle L. Brinkley, 26, was arrested on the 10600 block of West 12th Avenue for possession of a controlled substance/methamphetamine.

Aug. 8

A burglary was reported on the 10600 block of West 12th Avenue.

First-degree robbery was reported on the 12800 block of West Highway 2.

A traffic accident with damages was reported at Highway 2 and Lawson Street.
