EWU Community Food Drive, rummage sale taking place
The Eastern Washington University Community Food Drive and its annual rummage sale is accepting food and monetary donations through Aug. 13 at Banner Bank. The money will be donated to the Cheney Food Bank, Cheney Outreach — for backpacks and school supplies — and the Community in Schools Food Pantries and Clothing Closets.

Sweet Pea Boutique, 108 College Ave., is supporting the Cheney Outreach “Back to School” drive with a double-win fundraiser. Customers receive 10 percent off all resale purchases while Sweet Pea donates 10 percent of such purchases to Cheney Outreach.
