While the Cheney clothing bank has begun to bounce back, donations of clothes, shoes and linens are welcome at any time of the year.
With the holidays ending and summer starting, the Cheney clothing and food banks have felt the hit.
The clothing bank had a slump where they had no donations and barely anything to give out for a couple weeks, but they are slowly building back up their stock. The bank is open on Wednesdays from noon – 6 p.m. and they are always looking for donations. Any clothing, bedding, shoes, toys and books are gladly taken for donations.
The clothing bank will also take items for emergencies that families may go through. They accept blankets, dishes and small household items for people to pick up.
