Events planned for downtown Cheney

This year’s Cheney Rodeo Round-up is a blend of something old and something new.

The something old is that the Round-up, a combination of vendors and activities taking place downtown around Saturday’s parade, is once again under the coordination of Debbie Anderson. The something new is the co-owner of Cheney’s Holiday Inn Express and the antiques and vintage store Against the Grain is getting help from the Mayfest organization.

Anderson started the Round-up in 2014 in order to provide something that would bring people to downtown Cheney and keep them there after the parade was finished. Last y...
