Former Eastern Washington University visiting lecturer Andres Jaramillo and his family recently left Cheney on a journey that will take them to their hometown of Bogota, Columbia.
In the fall, the family will move to Los Angeles in in the fall where Jaramillo will pursue his doctorate at the University of Southern California.
Although the Jaramillos will leave Cheney behind, they will not forget how the community embraced and helped them, specifically with the needs of children Tomas and Isabela, who suffer from hearing loss.
