United Church of Christ

Kate (Sloan) Francis will preside at our services at 10 a.m. Sunday, July 3. Sloan handles most of the church office duties and is music director.

She is a newlywed and has a new master’s degree from Eastern Washington University. We will probably hear beautiful music and we look forward to her message. You are welcome to join us.

A coffee hour will follow in the church fellowship hall. Please join us and get acquainted. While you are there, be sure to visit our rose garden behind the church building. It is so beautiful.

We will not be celebrating Holy Communion July 3. Instead, communion will be served on July 10. In our church, everyone is welcome to participate in communion if they wish to do so. We would be happy to share communion with you.

Summer church office hours are Thursdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Call the church office at 235-4193 for information. Messages may be left if no one is in the office when you call. Put the “Lunch Bunch” potluck on your calendar for next week. All who wish to bring a dish to share are welcome to join the group for fellowship on July 7 at noon in the church fellowship hall.

You are cordially invited to join us for our Sunday service or any of the activities at Cheney UCC. Everyone is welcome.
