CHENEY

June 6

Bobby D. Risenhover, 47, was arrested for trespassing at Starbucks on the 2800 block of First Street. He was also cited for trespassing and third degree theft at Safeway.

Police assisted Child Protective Services with a child abuse incident reported on the 1600 block of Third Street.

June 7

A student was reported missing from Cheney High School. Parent later reported the student had returned home.

Child abuse was reported on the 1800 block of Washington Street. Incident was later proved to be unfounded.

June 8

Joel T. Peach, 20, was arrested for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence on the 1000 block of Betz Road.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 200 block of North Eleventh Street. An individual left a wallet on top of her car and drove off. A neighbor subsequently noticed a young female pick up the wallet, removing $230 in cash.

Residential burglary was reported on the 800 block of Fifth Street. Individual returned from work at 11:20 p.m. and noticed her bedroom door in a shared apartment had been forced open. Nothing was taken.

Cheney police assisted Eastern Washington University police on a hit-and-run accident on campus. Vehicle identified as a 2007 Toyota Corolla. Vehicle was subsequently located at The Grove Apartments. Case returned to EWUPD.

June 9

Suspicious circumstances were reported on the 500 block of North Second Street. A man was seen walking along College Avenue with his pants down and yelling. Man was contacted and smelled of intoxicants. He also admitted using methamphetamines and was sent for medical evaluation.

Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 700 block of West First Street.

Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 100 block of College Avenue.

Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 1000 block of Betz Road.

June 10

Fourth-degree assault was reported on the 800 block of Fifth Street. The individual does not want to pursue charges.

Michael A. Johnson, 19, was arrested for third-degree driving while license suspended (DWLS) on the 2800 block of North Sixth Street.

June 11

Second-degree theft was reported on the 1400 block of Gary Street. The victim reported a six-horsepower, Yamaha outboard motor valued at $4,000 was stolen from his boat.

Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 800 block of West First Street.

June 12

Child abuse was reported on the 200 block of Oakland Street. Proved to be unfounded.

Discharging of a weapon was reported on the 200 block of South Cheney-Spangle Road. Two dogs aggressively approached a man walking along the road. As the man attempted to retreat, he fell to the ground and fired his weapon into the ground, scaring off the dogs.

MEDICAL LAKE

June 2

Physical abuse was reported on the 300 block of East Barker Street.

Physical abuse was reported on the 300 block of East Barker Street.

Malicious mischief was reported on the 700 block of East Lake Street.

June 3

Theft was reported on the 700 block of North Lefevre Street.

June 6

A sex crime was reported on the 200 block of North Stanley Street.

Officers conducted a follow up investigation on the 100 block of East Spence Street.

Vehicle prowling was reported on the 1300 block of South Lefevre Street.

June 7

Fourth-degree assault/domestic violence was reported at Fancher Road and South Pine Street.

June 8

Fraud was reported on the 700 block of East Kathy Lee Avenue.

A suicidal subject was reported on the 800 block of West Maple Street.

Officers conducted a welfare check on the 500 block of East Percival Street.

AIRWAY HEIGHTS

June 8

Vehicle theft was reported on the 1600 block of South Deer Heights Road.

A traffic accident with damages was reported at Highway 2 and Lawson Street.

Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 1800 block of South Lawson Street.

Richard L. Mackin, 55, was arrested at Highway 2 and Hayford Road for third-degree DWLS.

June 9

William D. Geiger, 36, was arrested on the 10600 block of West 12th Avenue for first-degree DWLS and making false or misleading statements to a public servant.

Danielle M. Hauer, 40, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for second-degree trespassing.

Sylvester L. Brown, 47, was arrested on the 700 block of South King Street for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.

James E. Foote, 69, was arrested for third-degree DWLS on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road.

June 10

Shawna R. Andrews, 35, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for third-degree theft/shoplifting.

Janice M. Jones, 57, was arrested on the 1300 block of South Ziegler Street on warrants for failure to appear on third-degree DWLS and theft charges and failure to comply on a third-degree theft charge.

Officers assisted another agency on the 1300 block of South Ziegler Street.

June 11

An argument was reported on the 800 block of South Carmella Lane.

June 12

Amber M. Klippert, 31, was arrested on the 12800 block of West Highway 2 on a warrant for failure to appear on a first-degree trespassing charge.

A juvenile was arrested on the 12800 block of West Highway 2 for third-degree theft/shoplifting.

June 13

Third-degree theft/shoplifting was reported on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road.

Miguel A. Ramos, 27, was arrested at Lawson Street and First Avenue for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.

Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 300 block of South King Street.

Fourth-degree assault/domestic violence was reported on the 12500 block of West Highway 2.
