Freeman maintained its spot on top of the Northeast A League girls’ golf standings scoring an easy victory over Colville April 25 at Stoneridge Golf Course in Blanchard, Idaho. Freeman earned 175 points in the Stableford scoring system event. Colville finished second in the five-team tournament with 129 points. Medical Lake earned 84 points and finished fifth.
Individually, Freeman’s Rea Jansen topped the standings with 57 points, followed by teammate Isabelle Miller with 47. Abby Zappone earned 27 to lead the Medical Lake contingent.
Medical Lake’s next outing will be May 5 at Colville.
