West Plains Little League’s Inland Power softball team rallied to defeat Wheatland Reardan, 10-9, April 22, at Salnave Park, in Majors softball action.
Down 2-1 in the second inning, Ellie Haas hit a two-RBI double, then scored herself to give her team a 5-2 lead.
McKenna Weick hit an RBI triple then scored to boost Inland Power’s lead 7-4. Other offensive highlights for Inland Power included Natalie Trujillo’s inside-the-park home run in the third inning and Madison Munden’s RBI in the fourth. Wheatland nearly closed the gap with four runs in the sixth inning.
