CHS swim falls to Pullman

The Cheney High boys swim team wrapped up their regular season with a 99-70 loss to Pullman, Jan. 30.

Trevor Babcock won the 100-yard freestyle in 51.10 seconds and set a new season-best in the 200 freestyle after he took second in the event (1:52.61).

“Trevor dropped his 200 freestyle time by 11 seconds,” head coach Jennifer Hochwalt said. “The kids did awesome in Pullman. We must have added four kids to our districts’ lineup.”

Scott Nadeau won the 200 individual medley (2:09.85). He also took first in the 100 butterfly (58.28) while Ethan Sugimura finished third (1:05.46).
