Cheney’s Matt Mittelstaedt won a tiebreaker over Medical Lake’s Russell Shepherd and claimed the top spot in Week 2 of the of the 2015 Cheney Free Press football contest, earning a $50 merchant’s gift certificate.
Shepherd won a $20 Owl Drug gift certificate, beating four other entries. Both players missed two games and 15 players qualified for the season-ending prize by beating the Free Press experts.
Winners must come to the Free Press office at 1616 W. First St. in Cheney to pick up their prizes.
