Deer Park wins easily in NEA cross country

The first of consecutive big cross country showdowns for Medical Lake turned out to be a relative dud last Wednesday when Deer Park cruised to easy wins in both boy's and girl's competition.

Deer Pfark's boys scored a 22-42 win over Medical Lake while the Lady Stags had an equally easy time of it, winning 24-49. Medical Lake did score twin wins over Colville, however with the boys winning 42-61 and the girls collecting a 49-56 victory.

"We definitely under achieved, other than Mason (Williams)," Cardinals head coach Gene Blankenship said.

The biggest loss on the day might not have come on...
