The opening of Marketplace Cheney, which had planned to take place in mid-September, will now be today (Oct. 1), owner Lori Musgrave said. Doors open at 8 a.m.
“We are on the clean up and final placement of products,” Musgrave said in an email. “We had a second pipe burst.” Initially, prior to a planned Sept. 18 opening there was a break in a pipe inside a wall that forced the delay.
Work has been ongoing with exterior painting and other work to convert the former Gattos Pizza Parlor.
