Chances are until notable recent rulings by the Washington state Supreme Court, short of a few political wonks out there, little attention was paid to what the nine justices in Olympia did.

But following the McCleary Decision, fining our legislators for inaction on education, and finding charter schools unconstitutional, the nine judges who work to interpret the law now operate with the curtain pulled back just a little.
