Crews from contractor RailWorks have begun upgrades on the section of track from Cheney to Four Lakes and the Highline Grain shuttle facility. The project is expected to take several months to complete a company spokesman said, and will coincide with the opening of the terminal, projected for early January 2016. The tracks are being upgraded to handle an expected increase in rail traffic that will haul grain to market via Burlington Northern Santa Fe trains....
