The West Plains Bandits 16U softball team finished fourth at the 16U/18U B State Metro Qualifier for Nationals tournament July 11 and qualified for the Western B Nationals tournament in Spokane, played last week.
The Bandits went 2-2 at State Metro, losing 9-7 and 5-2 to the Spokane Mudhens and Northwest Wildfire 18U, respectively, but defeating the Spokane Stealth and Spokane Diamonds 8-7 and 11-10. No overall tournament stats were available, but individual games stats were released by the team.
