July 27
A red Subaru Forester was impounded on the zero hundred block of North Ninth Street.
Suspicious circumstances were reported on the 800 block of Elm Street. There was a possible burglary.
July 28
Fawaz F. Alkharashi, 25, was arrested for third -degree driving while license suspended (DWLS) on the 1400 block of Washington Road.
Kyle D. Day, 20, was arrested for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence on the 100 block of West Fifth Street.
A mental health issue was reported on the 1000 block of Second Street.
July 29
The Cheney Police Department assisted the Prince William County Sheriff’s Office with a report of a possible child molestation. An individual was located and came down to the station to be interviewed.
Spencer A. Sullivan, 34, was arrested for third-degree DWLS on the 700 block of First Street.
Ronald L. Ricci, 25, was arrested for third-degree DWLS on the 2400 block of Cheney Spokane Road.
Financial fraud was reported on the 300 block of North Eleventh Street. An individual ordered checks which were stolen and being cashed.
July 30
A blue bicycle was found on the 700 block of West First Street.
Rodney B. Crane, 41, was court committed at the Cheney Municipal Court on charges of first-degree DWLS.
Trespassing was reported on the 1300 block of Third Street.
A passport was lost on the 1000 block of Betz Road.
July 31
A blue bicycle was found on the 500 block of Cambridge Lane.
A debit card was found on the 100 block of G Street.
Aug. 1
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 1400 block of Fourth Street.
Residential burglary was reported on the 400 block of Dubois Street.
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 700 block of West First Street.
Rick Z. Schattler, 49, was arrested for third-degree theft on the 2200 block of First Street. A cellphone was stolen.
Aug. 2
Residential burglary was reported on the 800 block of Chestnut Street.

July 28
Assault was reported on the 2300 block of South Salnave Road.
Theft was reported on the 400 block of West Brooks Road. Pears were taken from a tree on private property.
A threat was reported on the 900 block of East Lake Street.
Harassment was reported on the 900 block of North Howard Street.
Domestic violence was reported on the 900 block of East Fellows Street.

Assault was reported on the 2300 block of South Salnave Road.
July 30
Domestic violence was reported at South Brower and East Grace streets.
Assault was reported on the 2300 block of South Salnave Road.

A suspicious person was reported on the 200 block of East Spence Street.

July 29
Kyle L. Hurt, 21, was arrested on the 1900 block of South Lawson Street for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.
July 30
Fourth-degree assault was reported on the 900 block of South Beeman Street.
Bradley J. Solomon, 26, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for third-degree theft/shoplifting.
Fraud was reported on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road.
Vehicle prowling was reported on the 10600 block of West 12th Avenue.
James C. Stokes, 39, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for retail theft with extenuating circumstances.
Corey L. West, 26, was arrested on the 12500 block of West 12th Avenue on warrants for driving under the influence of alcohol/intoxicating drugs (DUI) and reckless endangerment.
July 31
Keryia K. Borchers, 22, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for third-degree theft/shoplifting.
A domestic violence no contact order violation was reported on the 100 block of West Mallon Street.
Aug. 1
Ashley L. Widemand, 21, was arrested on the 13900 block of West 12th Avenue for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.
Daphne R. Wilson, 47, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for first-degree criminal trespassing.
Aug. 2
Lost property (no description given) was recovered on the 13100 block of West Highway 2.
Joseph A. Lightbody, 36, was arrested at Highway 2 and Hayford Road for failure to appear on a domestic violence no contact order violation.
Aug. 3
Gregory K. Packard, 39, was arrested on the 1600 block of South Lyons Street for first-degree DWLS and on warrants for failure to appear and comply on DUI charges.
Aug. 4
Second-degree assault was reported on the 12500 block of West Highway 2.
