Feed Medical Lake is serving ham salad sandwiches, dill pickle spears, potato soup and Jello fruit salad on a plate of romaine at the Aug. 10 meal from 5-6 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 223 S. Hallett St. All are welcome and free groceries are available.

Conversations with Cathy
Fifth District Congressional Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers will be hosting a series of “Conversations with Cathy” town hall meetings throughout Eastern Washington this month.
In Spokane, the meeting will be Tuesday, Aug. 11, from 5 – 6 p.m. at the Lincoln Center, 1316 N. Lincoln St.
Planning meeting canceled
The July 30 Medical Lake Planning Commission was canceled due to the commission lacking any business to discuss, City Administrator Doug Ross said.
The Planning Commission’s next meeting is scheduled Aug. 27 at City Hall, at 5 p.m.
Pinochle players sought
Looking for something fun to do? Come play pinochle (double deck) at Medical Lake City Hall (upstairs) Tuesday and Saturday afternoons from 12:30 – 3 p.m.
