Roberson appointed to Planning Commission
Medical Lake residents received an update of when the city’s new curbside recycling service would begin.
During Tuesday’s City Council meeting, Dustin Bender, Sunshine Disposal and Recycling general manager, said the first wave of recycling carts will be delivered to residents on July 22.
“The delivery of all of the carts will take the course of a week,” Bender said.
The fully-automated garbage collection will begin Aug. 5. Sunshine will pick up garbage every week and recyclables every other week. Bender said Sunshine will take old cans if residents request them to.
