Zombies in ML parade
Cast members from the Sci-fi Network’s “Z Nation” will be participating in the June 20 Medical Lake Founder’s Day parade and they would like the community to join them.
Residents who are interested in joining the cast in the parade should come to Medical lake High School at around 9:30 a.m.
Feed Cheney June meal
Feed Cheney is in the park this summer. Brown bag suppers and groceries will be distributed in Veterans Park, corner of Fourth and C streets across from the Wren Pierson Community Center, on Monday, June 29, starting at 5:30 p.m.
The free suppers are provided by the Church of the Nazarene in June, the groceries are provided by 2nd Harvest and Feed Cheney and it’s open to everyone, with no qualifying required. For more information visit feedcheney.com, write to feedcheney@gmail.com or phone 498-9250.
Rodeo parade registration
Registration for the annual Cheney Rodeo Days parade is now open. The parade takes place Saturday, July 11, beginning at 11:30 a.m. in downtown Cheney.
Registration forms are available online at cheneyrodeo.com, by stopping by Zip’s in Cheney or by calling 235-2754 or sending a fax request to 235-6882. Forms may be emailed to answers@cheneyrodeo.com. All forms must be returned by July 1.
