Biliteral seniors

Ten Cheney High School graduating seniors have earned the Seal of Biliteracy through either the STAMP (Standards-based Measurement of Proficiency) or AP (Advanced Placement) tests. Biliteracy requires the ability to not only speak a second language but also read and write in that language as well.

Graduates were able to wear a medal signifying their achievement at last Friday's commencement ceremonies and will have the bilateral designation placed on their transcripts. This is the first year of the program in Washington.
