Riveted by the raptor

Karmen Yount, a volunteer with the West Valley Learning Center's Raptor Exhibit, is explaining to visitors at last Saturday's Floods, Flowers and Feathers Festival at Turnbull Wildlife Refuge about Stan the Harris's Hawk. The exhibit, which also featured Sadie, an American kestrel hawk, was one of a number of booths and displays an estimated 600 visitors were able to see and experience at the refuge's annual open house event.
