The Tommy G's Espresso softball team fell short in their comeback, losing to the Tri County Diamond Divas, 8-7, May 14, in West Plains Little League AAA softball action at the Rein King field in Medical Lake.
After being down 5-0 in the bottom of the first inning, Natalie Trujillo hit a two-run home run to put Tommy G's on the scoreboard. The Diamond Divas scored two runs in the third before Tommy G's tied the game after a two-run single from Trujillo. The Divas scored the game winning run in the top of the fourth.
