CHS loses at Pullman in shootout

It looks like the Cheney High boys’ soccer team will be on the road for the regional round of post-season play.

The Blackhawks lost a 1-0 heartbreaker Tuesday afternoon at Great Northern League regular-season champion Pullman, playing the Greyhounds scoreless through regulation and both five-minute overtimes before losing in a 3-2 shootout. Pullman goalkeeper Will Pitzer entered the game in overtime, but made two big saves in the shootout.
