Cheney baseball goes 3-1 in busy week of GNL play

The Cheney High baseball team had a busy week of Great Northern League play, with a 3-2 win over Pullman, April 14, a sweep of East Valley in a doubleheader, 13-3 and 3-2, April 18 and a 9-8 loss to Clarkston, April 20.

In the game against the Greyhounds, Cheney scored all three runs in the third inning off Pullman errors. The Greyhounds managed to score two runs in the top of the seventh off of Cheney errors.

Pullman limited Cheney to five hits. Harrison King went 2 for 3 with a triple and Kyle Jones was 1 for 2 with an RBI.
