Local author Vern Hopkins will discuss his book “It Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time” at the April 13 Medical Lake Book Club meeting.
The meeting begins with refreshments and a social at 12:30 p.m.
“It Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time” is a collection of short stories that will have readers smiling with each chapter as they follow along with Hopkins on his remarkable and colorful ranching, horse racing and rodeo life that started in 1934.
Everyone is welcome. The Book Club meets in the Medical Lake Library at 321 E. Herb St....
