StageWest Community Theatre, Inc. just finished their run of Paul Elliott’s “Exit Laughing.” We enjoyed large crowds for most of our performances.

We would like at this time thank the members of Emmanuel Lutheran Church for the generous use of their building for our auditions, rehearsals, and performances of this play. We would also like to give a hearty thank you to Mike Hartman for the delicious dinner he catered for our dinner theatre. More thanks also goes to the members of the community that continue to support us through either donations, ads and/or being a member of our audience. Without the support of the community we would be nothing.

I would like to especially thank the cast and crew for a remarkable production. There were so many comments made by the audiences about what a terrific production this was and that it was one of the best and funniest productions that StageWest has done.

Just a reminder that StageWest is holding open auditions for our next play “Bedside Manners,” by Derek Benfield and directed by Chris Booth.

Auditions will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church’s Lower Fireside Room, 639 Elm St. on Friday March 27, at 7 p.m. and on Saturday March 28 at 10 a.m. Cast of three men and two women are needed.

Rehearsals start in April and the play runs the last two weekends of May and the first weekend of June. For more information contact Chris at (509) 951-1355.
