CHENEY
March 13
After further investigation of a minor in possession and conspiracy to commit theft incident earlier in the day, police arrested Nolan F. Atoa, 18, for third-degree theft/shoplifting and MIP.
March 16
Second-degree theft was reported on the 100 block of Alki Street.
Second-degree theft was reported on the 200 block of Simpson Parkway.
Third-degree theft was reported on the 100 block of Third Street.
March 17
A sudden death was reported on the 600 block of Lincoln Street.
A 15-year-old was arrested at Cheney High School for possession of a controlled substance. The juvenile had marijuana.
Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 500 block of Villard Street.
Police assisted the U.S. Border Patrol with holding Ephrem Y. Aden, 26. Aden had been placed on a hold pending pick up by Border Patrol officers but had been released by another agency in error. Aden appeared at Cheney Municipal Court on another issue. The court determined he had been released in error and contacted the Police Department, who sent an officer to hold Aden until Border Patrol officers arrived.
Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 100 block of North Eleventh Street.
March 18
Police assisted the Yakima Police Department by taking a report at Cheney Municipal Court of an alleged sexual assault.
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 1000 block of Betz Road.
March 19
Police assisted on a court commitment at Cheney Municipal Court.
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 2200 block of First Street.
March 20
Suspicious circumstances were reported to the Cheney Police Department.
A runaway juvenile was reported on the 500 block of Washington Street. A 16-year-old male was arrested.
March 21
Residential burglary was reported on the 200 block of South Cheney-Spangle Road.
Third-degree theft was reported on the 400 block of First Street.
Police assisted the Washington State Patrol on the 300 block of Betz Road on a driving under the influence arrest.
March 22
Allen K. Whitney, 18, was arrested on the 2200 block of First Street for fourth-degree assault, malicious mischief and minor in possession.
Ashley Beckham, 18, was arrested on the 100 block of West First Street for third-degree theft/shoplifting.
Obscene/annoying calls were reported on the 800 block of Summit Drive.
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 2200 block of First Street.
A 16-year-old male was arrested on three counts of harassment on the 500 block of Washington Street.

March 16
Abuse was reported on the 1000 block of North Christopher Lane.
March 17
An attempt to distribute a fraudulent debt collection letter was reported on the 600 block of South Jefferson Street.
March 18
Assault was reported on the 2300 block of South Salnave Road. Two individuals were throwing things at each other.
Assault was reported on the 900 block of North Minnie Street.
March 19
Assault was reported on the 800 block of West Maple Street.
An attempt to cash a fraudulent check was reported on the 1000 block of North Prentis Street.
March 20
Abuse was reported on the 2300 block of South Salnave Road.
March 21
Theft was reported on the 300 block of East Barker Street. Victim reported several items missing over the past few days. Suspect may be known.
AIRWAY HEIGHTS
March 18
Marni A. Covery MaCrae, 41, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for third-degree theft/shoplifting.
Russell J. Oliver, 26, was arrested on the 700 block of South Ziegler Street for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.
Tony J. G. Bolen, 33, was arrested on the 12500 block of West Highway 2 for a domestic violence no contact order violation.
Incidents of first-degree theft and second-degree vehicle prowling were reported on the 10100 block of West 10th Avenue.
A retail theft with special circumstances was reported on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road.
March 19
Michael D. Johnson, 51, was arrested on the 1600 block of South Campbell Street for second-degree criminal trespass.
Harassment was reported on the 12500 block of West Highway 2.
Kelly A. Hurley, 29, was arrested on the 12500 block of West Highway 2 for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.
March 20
Third-degree theft/shoplifting was reported on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road.
Ericka L. McCandless, 42, was arrested on the 12500 block of West Highway 2 for possession of controlled substances (methamphetamine and heroin) with intent to deliver.
Kevin A. Broadnax (age not listed) was arrested on the 12500 block of Highway 2 for possession of a controlled substance/heroin.
Katie I. Torez, 23, was arrested on the 12500 block of West Highway 2 for possession of a controlled substance/methamphetamine.
March 21
Evin M. Dunlap, 20, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for second-degree theft.
March 22
Vehicle prowling was reported on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road.
A juvenile was arrested at 18th Avenue and Campbell Street for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.
Vehicle prowling was reported on the 10600 block of West 12th Avenue.
Third-degree theft/shoplifting was reported on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road.
March 23
Elita R. Henderson, 32, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for third-degree theft/shoplifting.
Mark E. Huber, 56, was arrested at Hayford Road and Highway 2 for second-degree driving while license suspended (DWLS).
