The AARP Free Taxaide service is once again open at the Cheney Library. Over 10 volunteers have been IRS-certified to assist taxpayers with their taxes including the Affordable Care Act.
The tax site will be open Friday and select Saturdays until April 11.
Due to the many tax law changes this year, the Taxaide site requests that all taxpayers come with their social security card, including all dependents social security cards, their last year’s tax return and all applicable tax related documents to ensure prompt service.
