CHENEY
Feb. 2
Alarms were reported on the 2200 block of First Street. A citation was issued.
A 16-year-old juvenile was arrested at the Cheney Middle School on a warrant for failure to comply with conditions.
Teresa R. Byrd, 44, was arrested on the 800 block of First Street for third-degree driving while license suspended (DWLS) and on a Spokane District Court warrant for failure to appear on DWLS charge.
Shandy L. Reynolds, 35, was arrested on the 500 block of Salnave Road on a felony warrant out of Kennewick for failure to appear on a possession of methamphetamine charge.
Omar M. Gomez, 34, was arrested on the 500 block of Salnave Road on a felony warrant out of Kennewick for escape from the Department of Corrections.
Feb. 3
Morgan S. Byrd, 20, was arrested on the 600 block of First Street on a warrant out of Spokane for third-degree DWLS.
Joshua M. Smith, 24, was arrested on the 1700 block of Second Street for third-degree DWLS.
Feb. 4
Second-degree theft was reported on the 300 block of Erie Street. Vehicle accessories, electronics and tools were stolen.
Mental health issues were reported at Cheney High School. Parents took the juvenile to the hospital.
Second-degree theft was reported on the 200 block of South Cheney-Spangle Road. Two iPhones and one iPod were stolen.
Fourth-degree assault was reported on the 700 block of Betz Road. Incident referred to school resource officer.
Feb. 5
Second-degree theft was reported on the 1500 block of Washington Street. A laptop was stolen.
Courtney E. Taylor, 25, was arrested at the Cheney Municipal Court on an outside warrant for third-degree theft.
Third-degree theft was reported on the 200 block of Betz Road. A car stereo and speakers were stolen.
Feb. 6
Identification theft was reported on the 200 block of Paradise Road. The suspect was using someone else’s social security number.
Feb. 7
A pair of glasses was found on the 100 block of Sixth Street.
Feb. 8
Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 300 block of F Street. Damage to a gate.
MEDICAL LAKE
Feb. 2
Theft was reported on the 500 block of North Brower Street. Cash was taken.
Feb. 3
Thomas M. Clement, 41, was arrested at East Barker and North Stanley streets for possession of a controlled substance/methamphetamine and on a warrant for Department of Corrections escape.
Feb. 4
A juvenile runaway was reported on the 1200 block of East Stanley Drive. The juvenile returned home later that day.
Feb. 5
A juvenile runaway was reported on the 500 block of North Brower Street. The juvenile was found later that day.
Dead on arrival was reported on the 400 block of South Hallett Street. The incident is under investigation.
Feb. 6
Assault was reported on the 2300 block of South Salnave Road.
Feb. 7
Custodial interference was reported on the 900 block of North Howard Street.
AIRWAY HEIGHTS
Feb. 4
Theft was reported on the 12500 block of West Highway 2.
Gerald A. Lind, 47, was arrested on the 100 block of North Hayford Road for resisting arrest and obstructing a law enforcement officer.
Todd C. Grove, 47, was arrested on the 12600 block of West 12th Avenue for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.
A juvenile was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for third-degree theft/shoplifting.
Feb. 5
Third-degree theft was reported on the 13700 block of West Highway 2.
Feb. 6
Matthew V. Rhoads, 21, was arrested on the 1400 block of South Albert Street for a domestic violence no contact order violation.
A vehicle prowl was reported on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road.
Residential burglary was reported on the 700 block of South Horton Street.
Feb. 7
A suicidal subject was reported on the 2100 block of South Garfield Street.
Residential burglary was reported on the 1400 block of South Albert Street.
Feb. 9
Peter J. Duncan, 35, was arrested at Highway 2 and Lundstrom Street for driving under the influence (DUI) of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs.
Ashely T. Ansbaugh, 23, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for third-degree theft/shoplifting.
Incidents of first-degree identity theft and possession of motor vehicle theft tools were reported on the 11900 block of West Sprague Avenue.
A domestic dispute was reported on the 10600 block of West 12th Avenue.
