CHENEY
Jan. 21
Second-degree theft was reported on the 600 block of First Street. A wallet and its contents were stolen from a building.
Third-degree theft was reported on the 2400 block of University Lane. A cellphone was stolen.
Jan. 22
Ronald L. Ricci Jr., 24, was arrested on the 2200 block of West First Street on a Spokane Superior Court warrant for first-degree stolen property, second-degree theft and malicious mischief.
Jan. 23
Suspicious circumstances were reported on the 700 block of Betz. Possible child abuse.
Domestic violence was reported on the 200 block of South Cheney-Spangle Road.
Jan. 24
A loud party was reported on the 800 block of Washington Street. Police arrested Cody Hilcoski, 21, for loud party and arrested Aaron J. Weis, 26, for giving false statements.
Rick L. Schattler, 49, was arrested on a Lincoln County warrant for failure to appear and third-degree driving while license suspended (DWLS) on the 2700 block of First Street.
Third-degree theft was reported on the 200 block of Betz Road. Fishing equipment and coins were stolen from two vehicles.
Rio L. Whelshula, 26, was arrested on a Spokane County warrant for a misdemeanor DWLS on the 1200 block of West First Street.
Fourth-degree assault was reported on the zero hundred block of Columbia Street.
Jan. 25
Residential burglary was reported on the zero hundred block of Columbia Street.
Second-degree theft was reported on the 100 block of North Ninth Street. An iPod and set of golf clubs were stolen from a vehicle.
Rodney B. Crain, 41, was arrested for first-degree DWLS on the 2800 block of First Street.
Third-degree theft was reported on the 200 block of Betz Road. A car stereo was stolen.

Jan. 19
Domestic violence was reported on the 300 block of East Barker Street.
Jan. 20
A juvenile runaway was reported on the 500 block of North Brower Street. Juvenile was located later in the afternoon.
Jan. 22
Theft was reported on the 500 block of East Campbell Street. A set of keys, a Playstation console and other items were taken.
Assault was reported on the 2300 block of South Salnave Road.
Jan. 23
Theft was reported on the 500 block of North Lefevre Street. A TV and a drill were taken.
Jan. 25
An argument was reported on the 100 block of North Walker Street.

Jan. 21
Justin P. Henderson, 38, was arrested at 12th Avenue and Hazelwood Drive for possession of a controlled substance/methamphetamine and on a warrant for failure to appear on a theft charge.
Andrew C. Nilles, 32, was arrested on the 14200 block of West Highway 2 for first-degree DWLS and operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device.
A burglary was reported on the 10600 block of West 12th Avenue.
A burglary was reported on the 1700 block of South Lawson Street.
Jan. 22
A vehicle prowl was reported on the 1700 block of South Hayford Road.
A suicidal subject was reported on the 1500 block of South Lawson Street.
A hit-and-run accident was reported on the 12800 block of West 14th Avenue.
Jan. 23
A vehicle theft was reported on the 10600 block of West 12th Avenue.
Dead on arrival/natural causes was reported on the 900 block of South Aspen Street.
Jan. 24
Leanna R. Gegwetch, 34, was arrested on the 1200 block of North Hayford Road for possession of a controlled substance/heroin and methamphetamine.
Jan. 25
Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 13500 block of West Sixth Avenue.
First-degree criminal trespass was reported on the 1400 block of South Garfield Street.
Sarah A. Allen, 27, was arrested on the 900 block of South Avalon Street for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.
Tony J.G. Bolen, 33, was arrested on the 12500 block of West Highway 2 for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence and was later released. The next day he was arrested in the same area for a domestic violence no contact order violation.
Jan. 26
A vehicle prowl was reported on the 300 block of South Aspen Street.
Ann M. Miller, 43, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for third-degree theft/shoplifting.
Third-degree theft was reported on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road.
