SPOKANE COUNTY — After more than 40 years as a senior executive at Spokane County, Chief Executive Officer Marshall Farnell plans to retire later this year. Recruitment is underway and the position is being advertised in national, state and local publications.
The Board of County Commissioners has established a review committee of seven private individuals. Staff in the Human Resources Department will initially review applications to insure they are complete.
All applications will then be sent to the county commissioners and the review committee, with a recommendation of the top 10 applicants...
