A Cheney High School athlete was inadvertently left off of the All Great Northern League selection list for fall sports.
Blackhawks’ senior Maddie McNair was named to the All-GNL cross country second team. McNair was a consistent team scorer for Cheney, finishing second to lead the Blackhawks’ girls to a win over West Valley Oct. 8, finished no lower than fifth in any of the team’s four GNL meets and was ninth in the District 7 championships.
McNair completed the 2014 season with the 21st top time among District 5/6/7 runners.
