Cheney basketball teams struggle with scoring in losses

If the weather outside is cold, it was likely colder inside the gym last week for both Cheney High School basketball teams.

The Blackhawks boy’s team shot just 21 percent in a 40-30 loss at home last Tuesday (Dec. 16) to Idaho 4A classification Moscow, and didn’t fare much better two days later on the road in Clarkston, falling 68-32 to the Bantams. The Lady Blackhawks also had difficulties on offense, losing 62-25 to Clarkston in their only game of the week.
