Newcomer Storm Fissette, a transfer from Rogers High in Spokane, earned Medical Lake’s lone victory at 220 pounds in the Cardinals’ 78-6 Northeast A League wrestling loss to Freeman, Thursday, Dec. 11.
Fissette took 2 minutes, 53 seconds to top his Freeman opponent. On the evening, Freeman earned pins in seven weight categories.
Medical Lake participated in the West Valley Tournament Dec. 13 where Ian O’Brien earned pins against Shadle and Lakeside, both at 285 pounds. Tristin Keith also scored a pair of victories at 145-pounds. Freshman Sam Griffey got a pin at 138.
