The Medical Lake High School leadership class completed the first phase of their "Backpack Buddies" project. The class received $100 from Spokane Teacher's Credit Union (STCU) to puchase backpacks and food for kids who qualify for free and reduced lunch. The Junior League of Spokane also donated cookbooks.
